FORMALDEHYDE 37%

FORMALDEHYDE also known as Formaldehyde solution or Formalin an organic compound, the simplest of the aldehydes, used in large amounts in a variety of chemical manufacturing processes. It is produced principally by the vapor-phase oxidation of methanol and is commonly sold as formalin, a 37 percent aqueous solution. Pure formaldehyde is a color less, flammable gas with a strong pungent odor. It is extremely irritating to the mucous membranes and is associated with certain types of cancer in humans and other animals.

Application:
